Cindy is sick…again… so we had to take a break from our running. We’re a bit disappointed to be off our “running schedule”. But that’s life… and not everything goes according to plan. On the bright side, it was nice to sleep in all weekend!

“Jake: A Series”

Jake got a haricut.

Also, Cindy’s parents came out to visit!! We ate brunch at this cute local diner called “Cafe 50’s”. As soon as you walk into the diner, it’s like stepping into a time machine and traveling back to the 50’s! On Sundays, during brunch, they have a magician who walks around and performs free magic tricks. We like coming here not only for the food, but also for the experience.

We had walked to the diner to avoid dealing with parking. But when we were done with brunch it was pouring outside! By the time we ran back to our apartment, we were all drenched and soaking wet. It’s one of those experiences that sucks in the moment, but is really memorable afterwards.

We made some hot chocolate to warm up and played some Telestrations. We love this game so much!
