Baby R celebrated her first Easter!

She doesn’t quite understand yet that Christ has risen or the concept of finding Easter eggs or the fact that the two really have nothing to do with each other. But she still had fun!

Since she’s mobile and walking now, we decided last minute to do a mini Easter egg hunt at home! Baby R loves opening the drawers to our nightstands, so we put a couple eggs in there to surprise her. She was so excited when she found the eggs! We had filled some of the eggs with rice for a more sensory experience. Lesson learned: tape the eggs shut or spend the day vacuuming up spilled rice.
