That pretty much sums up our week!

Boston:

Jake attended a conference in Boston this last week. This particular conference is a pretty big deal to attend because only a select few get invited! He felt so honored to be able to attend and hear from so many great economists.

Pink Eye:

R caught her first pink eye. And it was a nasty experience. She’s been out with whatever virus caused all this for about a week. Cindy caught the same virus and it’s been absolutely awful. Why is it that these things always happen when Jake’s out of town? The bright side is lots of Disney movies. Per Jake’s request, we watched Tangled. We’re slowly making our way through all the Disney movies with each bout of sickness!

Bridal Shower:

Cindy attended a bridal shower for her close friend who is getting married this summer. It seems all our friends are getting married! We have four weddings this year! Exciting!! It was so fun to get dressed up and catch up with old friends she hadn’t seen in a while. Since staying home and hanging out with R nearly 24/7, it’s a lot easier than it was when she was working to go out and have fun without missing R too much.
