Cindy’s childhood friend from Saturday Chinese School got married this past weekend!

We have been looking forward to this wedding for sooo long!! Partially because we were excited to get out for a night. But mostly because more and more of Cindy’s friends are getting married!!! More weddings, please.

It was one of the most beautiful and dreamy weddings we have ever been to. Even amidst a SoCal heat wave, the evening was like a fairytale. And it didn’t even matter that we were sweating the entire evening, we had so much fun catching up with old friends and dancing the night away!

The wedding also got us reminiscing about our own wedding and how in just less than a month our wedding day will have been 5 years ago! There are so many new and fun ideas these days, that we couldn’t help but think about what things we would have done differently. For example, the couple did a “photo dash” where they had the length of a song to squeeze in table pictures with all the guests at the wedding. We’re jealous we didn’t think of that! It is such a fun and efficient way to get in all your table pictures. Anyone who’s ever planned a large wedding knows that table pictures are one of those things that can accidentally suck up a lot of time.

This was the most fun we have had in a while and it was a little hard to go back to work the following week. Cindy had the post-wedding blues for someone else’s wedding! lol.

We can’t wait for more friends to get married. *wink*
