The title of this week’s blog says it all. All we did this weekend was play Pokémon Go with Cindy’s sister and her sister’s boyfriend. The four of us bought tickets to the Pokémon Go Kanto Tour Event, which was on Saturday. You can say we’re obsessed. When we purchased our tickets, we were just anticipating a day of fun and catching Pokémon. What else is there to do these days? But it turns out the event was pretty intense. There was basically a task or challenge every hour for the entire 12 hours of the event. It was both a lot of fun and a lot of stress at the same time. By the end of the day, we were basically delusional from all the Pokémon catching.

Apparently 12 hours of straight Pokémon Go wasn’t enough. We found ourselves back at Cindy’s sister’s apartment the next day…catching more Pokémon (her sister and sister’s boyfriend live near a lot of Poké stops, so there’s always a lot of Pokémon activity). We originally went over to drop off some honey and get some shaved ice at Meet Fresh, but somehow ended up spending the entire day there.

In any case, we had a lot of fun this weekend. This is probably one of those things we can’t do once we have kids, so we’re trying to savor weekends like these as much as we can.
