It’s not a secret anymore!! Baby girl is due at the end of May/early June 2021!! And we are beyond happy and excited!!
We’re currently in month 4 of pregnancy. So much has been happening! We’ve been keeping a separate, more private, pregnancy journal– we might share it one day. Or we might not.
We did, however, share a few of our thoughts during the “trying to conceive” part of this journey. They were password protected before because we didn’t want anyone to know we were trying. For anyone interested, here are the links to the posts!
We’ve been getting teased quite a bit about how we’ve “kept busy” during the pandemic. And we know it’s all in good fun, so no offense taken at all. But we do want to make clear that baby girl happened not because of the pandemic but in spite of it. We had been planning on trying this year. And one of the last things on our “pre-baby bucket list” was run in the LA Marathon, which we did back in March!
We feel so blessed and fortunate to have conceived so quickly. And we’re so excited to meet our baby girl! This isn’t how we imagined our first pregnancy to be like– Jake isn’t allowed to attend any of the appointments. But we’re making the most of it and enjoying every bit of this experience.
