MEGA PIE!!!! (berry, pumpkin, pecan, and apple all in one sheet!) We saw this video from the Food Network on Facebook for a mega pie and decided to make it! Well…more like Jake made it while Cindy complained about the mess he was making in the kitchen.  She did help make the pumpkin part. But she also messed up the pecan part. All in all, it was a fun & festive 4 hours of baking. (there was Christmas music playing and a scented candle burning in the background). And all the pies tasted DELICIOUS! (thanks to Jake, cups and cups of sugar, and a million pounds of butter). Other things that happened this week… Jake submitted his first PhD application!!!! And Cindy got her flu shot.
